Combs is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, facing serious federal charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The Bad Boy Records founder was caught on a prison phone call with West, thanking him for supporting his sons, King and Justin Combs, and opening up about his harsh reality behind bars.

However, a source close to Diddy now claims the hip-hop mogul had no idea he was being recorded.

Diddy’s Emotional Prison Call: “This s*** Is Wicked”According to a source speaking to the New York Post, Combs believed he was simply checking in with a friend and had no clue the call would be leaked to the public.

“Puff didn’t know it was being recorded [on video],” the source said. “He thought he was having a friend call him to check on his kids.”

Prison calls are routinely recorded, but those records are not generally made public. Some had speculated that the leaked call was AI-generated, but the source confirmed: “The call was real and not AI.”

During the call obtained by The Shade Room, Combs expressed his frustration with being incarcerated, saying: “Tell you real from the front line. This s**t is wicked, wicked, wicked, so you be careful. You can’t do nothing for just… I need you out there, you hear me?”

West responded: “Yeah, I hear you, yes sir.”

“When I get out and I get that f**king freedom, woo. I am not caring about nothing but motherf**king being happy. And I want you to feel that.”

Combs also thanked West for looking after his kids, claiming no one else had reached out to them since his arrest.

Diddy then warned Ye to be careful, suggesting there was a larger plot at play.

“They definitely trying to end us. I’m gonna beat this s**t and get next to you.”

West reassured him, and Combs encouraged Ye to get back into music, saying: “I be dreaming of that.”

West agreed, saying: “Yeah, it’s time for me just to grab the mic and get back on. I love, I love music again. It was a time where everything was so frustrating. I can’t explain it.”

Diddy remains in federal custody without bail as he awaits trial in May.

Despite his repeated efforts to secure bail, a New York judge ruled that he was a serious flight risk and ordered him to remain in jail until trial.

Meanwhile, multiple lawsuits continue to pile up against Combs.

A former adult entertainer in Las Vegas has accused him of forcing him into acts beyond what had been agreed upon. The lawsuit, reported by Rolling Stone, claims: “Combs dehumanized plaintiff and reduced him to a mere object for Combs’ own amusement and to satisfy his own sexual fetishes.”

The lawsuit further alleges that Combs “gravely exploited plaintiff, effectively imprisoning him and controlling him through surreptitious surveillance and filming.”

Despite the serious allegations, Combs’ legal team denies all wrongdoing.

“Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to separate fact from fiction, and Mr. Combs is confident that he will prevail in court.”
