Trav is not only scoring points on the field, but in Taylor’s fandom, too.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship is like one of those rom-coms you binge with a tub of ice cream, wondering, “When’s it my turn?”
The lovebirds went public in September 2023 after Tay was spotted cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs with Travis’ mom. Since then, they’ve been the power couple that everyone’s obsessed with.
Everyone wants their boyfriend to be their biggest fan, but Travis? He’s a certified Swiftie™.
Travis Kelce Reveals his Best Taylor Swift Songs
On the latest bonus episode of the New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce podcast, Travis proved his Swiftie credentials by dropping his top five Taylor Swift tracks (and yeah, the guy’s got taste).
Ever wondered what’s playing on Travis’ playlist? The Chiefs star kicked things off with a smash hit, revealing that he will be listening to it ‘forever’ (that totally means Travis and Tay are truly forever – that’s what he’s saying right? Right?!):
“’Blank Space’ is a song that I’ll always listen to forever. It’s just unbelievable, everything about it.”
Love that he’s unbothered by Taylor smashing cars and burning clothes in the Blank Space video — ya know, king behavior. Next, he brought up a fan-favorite:
“I’ll throw a few new ones out there. ‘Death by a Thousand Cuts’ is one that I’ve learned to absolutely love. I’ve watched Tay’s Tiny Desk, and she played it on that one. That’s, I think, where I fell in love with it.”
Doubling down on the fangirl energy, Travis added more tracks from Evermore and The Tortured Poets Department, proving he’s keeping up with his girlfriend’s latest releases:
“On top of that, I mean, ‘The Alchemy,’ can’t go wrong with that one. And ‘So High School’, I mean, I like the feelings that that gives you. ‘Cowboy Like Me’ is another good one.”
I mean, OFC he likes So High School and The Alchemy, Taylor literally wrote those love songs about Trav!
Swoon! He’s the Swiftie we all aspire to be.
Travis Has His Favorite Taylor Swift ‘Era’
This isn’t the first time Kelce has gushed about his fave Taylor tracks. On Bussin’ with the Boys back in June, he confessed his love for his gal’s album, 1989:
“I really started listening to Taylor’s music when she came out with 1989,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said. “Like I knew who she was before that, we were the same age, so through high school and everything I knew who Taylor was and she was like getting her career started. But I think 1989 was where it really started to go crazy.”
Trav then went on to say Blank Space, So High School and Cruel Summer are his ultimate Tay Tay jams:
“So I’m gonna say ‘Black Space’ because that was like the first one, so I’ll put that at number one. It’s a banger.”
“I think I’ll go number two ‘Cruel Summer,’ ” he continued. “‘Cruel Summer’ is like one of the ones she opens with at her show.”
Discussing his third favorite song, Kelce added, “I’ll say, ‘So High School.’ It’s got a little bit of a sentimental meaning, I guess.”
We just know Travis belts out every lyric at The Eras shows; he’s already been captured dancing in the crowd! But let’s not forget Taylor’s dedication, too — she’s been jet-setting on her private plane to catch Chiefs games whenever she can. Because who needs the ozone layer when you’ve got true love, right?
Anyway, “Traylor” (or “Tayvis?”) have touchdowns and chart-toppers. Meanwhile, I’m out here singing All Too Well with my snacks. It’s fine, I’m fine.
